During the early Middle Ages (6th to 10th centuries), various forms of communing, mindfulness, and creative or spiritual practices began to take shape around the world.

Dating back as early as the 6th century, Sezătoare gatherings were a vital part of village life in what is now modern-day Romania.

Typically during the winter months, villagers gathered in homes or community spaces, where they worked on various crafts while sharing stories, folk songs, jokes, & passing wisdom down through generations. These gatherings were a ritual of community care & creativity, where connection thrived in a space of trust & shared purpose.

Modern science is just beginning to validate what the Sezătoare, and other traditions, have long understood:

True growth comes from aligning mind, body & spirit through communal care, intentional presence & creative expression.

The Seza draws inspiration from this ancient tradition, bringing its spirit of connection, creativity & collective care into the modern world. As we gather weekly, we build on the same principles to co-create a space of presence, connection, growth & transformation.
