Is this a self-paced, on-demand program?

No, The Seza is an immersive, live program designed to create real-time transformation.

Research shows that true growth happens through embodied practice, which is why we focus on live participation and experiential engagement. This isn’t a passive learning experience. Rather, it's a chance to feel the effects of mindfulness, creative expression, & somatic embodiment alongside a supportive community.

What’s the time commitment?

The Seza is an 8-week program designed to fit into your life. We meet once a week for a live gathering. Each weekly gathering is approximately 90mins.

While the live gatherings are the core of the program, you’ll also have access to bonus content, reflection prompts, and ongoing group support, which you can explore at your own pace.

We offer cohorts held on different days at different times of day to accommodate varying needs.

Is this program right for me?

The Seza is for anyone seeking balance, deeper connection & a sense of creative, easeful flow.

We welcome self development enthusiasts, burnout recovery seekers, creatives & hobbyists, professionals who want to incorporate more mindfulness in their day, or simply anyone who wants to shift away from “hustle culture” toward a culture of intention, authenticity, balance, creativity, & ethical living.

Is there a difference between cohorts?

No, there’s no difference in content or structure between the Lumina and Meliora cohorts.

Both are named to symbolize different aspects of growth and transformation. Lumina means "light" in Latin & evokes the idea of illumination, clarity, & personal insight. Meliora means "better" or "for the pursuit of better things," symbolizing the journey toward continuous improvement & well-being.

You’re free to let the names guide you, but the intended experience & program are the same for both.

What if I miss a live session?

No worries! We understand that emergencies happen. All live sessions will be recorded & you’ll have access to the replays.

However, there’s an expectation that you join live every week for the duration of the program. This is because the full benefits of The Seza come from showing up & committing to each session. Attending live allows for a more fulsome & deep experience, both for you & the other participants who are part of the community.

If you know in advance that you’ll miss a session, or if something unexpected comes up, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible, or follow up to let us know why you couldn’t attend. That way, we can ensure the group experience remains cohesive.

If you anticipate missing several sessions, this program might not be the best fit at this time.

What types of practices are included in the program?

The Seza incorporates practices rooted in ancient traditions that modern science is just now validating.

You’ll engage in somatic practices, like body awareness and gentle movement, which have been shown to regulate the nervous system and improve emotional well-being. You’ll also explore expressive arts, like storytelling through the visual arts and creative prompts, that stimulate brain plasticity and promote mental clarity and creative flow. You'll also engage in reflective check-ins, sharing circles, & mindfulness techniques like meditation.

No previous experience is required. Each practice is designed to help you reconnect with your sense of authentic self, balance & creativity.

Do I need any prior experience in creative arts or mindfulness practices?

No experience is required! The Seza is open to everyone, regardless of your background. Whether you’re new to these practices or experienced, you’ll find value & growth through the unique, curated experiences & the supportive structure of the program.
